Application Modes

Performance uses Modes to focus the Workspace for a specific task or stage in the system deployment process. The Modes were designed to be used from top to bottom to walk you through the stages of the system deployment process but they can be used in any order.

Modes can be changed by clicking one of the five icons on the left mode bar. The application work flow starts from Design Mode and works downwards to Show Mode. Each mode is designed to bring the right tools to the surface within the app to accomplish a specific phase in system implementation.

When a mode is chosen the modal tool bar and the set of focused views will change to match the primary task for the selected mode.

Mode Symbol	Mode Name	Description
	Design Mode	Populate the workspace with virtual devices that represent the physical system being deployed.
	Connect Mode	Associate devices found on the network with the virtual devices in the project and enable synchronization between the software and hardware.
	Test Mode	Verify system functionality.
	Tune Mode	Modify device DSP parameters and tune the physically deployed system.
	Show Mode	Monitor the status of the system in real time.
