L'AM7212/64 est un système d'enceinte acoustique haute puissance, léger, 2 voies, large bande, composé du pilote basse fréquence JBL Differential Drive à double bobine mobile et double entrefer 2262H 300 mm (12 po) et du pilote de compression haute fréquence 2432H avec une sortie de 38 mm (1,5 po) et une bobine mobile de 75 mm (3 po). Le grand pavillon à transition progressive Progressive Transition offre une couverture d'excellent rendement selon diverses configurations. Le pavillon est rotatif, ce qui permet d'utiliser le système d'enceinte en orientation verticale ou horizontale. Les réseaux passifs à forte pente minimisent le chevauchement des bandes de fréquence. La réponse hors axe bien maîtrisée améliore l'aptitude à la mise en grappe.
