VLA Compact专为需要均匀覆盖、高语音清晰度以及足以克服观众噪声的声压级的固定安装应用而设计。作为核心设计要素,VLA Compact系列采用大尺寸号角负载模块,可提供宽频带的水平指向性并提升灵敏度。全频扬声器配备两只2261型10英寸Differential Drive®差动驱动低频驱动器(3英寸音圈),并提供65°和100°水平覆盖角度选项。VLA-C125S超低频扬声器配备两只2267H型15英寸Differential Drive®差动驱动低音单元。箱体采用多层强化玻璃纤维结构与钢质端板。网罩采用镀锌粉末喷涂14号规格穿孔钢板,内衬声学透明黑色网罩布及疏水网层,并配备防水导轨系统。
