The VTX B28 is JBL Professional’s next-generation dual 18-inch subwoofer, designed to complement the company’s flagship VTX full-range sound reinforcement systems, and capable of delivering uncompromised low-frequency performance, even for the most demanding shows on the planet. The B28 boasts JBL Differential Drive transducers, an exclusive port design, and the same industrial design found in JBL’s VTX A-Series products. It is equally ideal flown or ground stacked, in omnidirectional or cardioid configurations. Simple and fast rigging, a selection of accessories, and software support make the B28 an exceptional choice for rental, AV, and touring companies, as well as in high-end fixed installations.
A simple, integral, two-point rigging system allows flown arrays of up to 16 B28 enclosures. Three M20 pole mount attachments on the enclosure’s top can interface with standard Base Plate accessories for the A12, A8, and V20 systems to create ground stacked systems. B28 systems are powered exclusively by Crown I-Tech HD amplifiers and are fully integrated into JBL’s software ecosystem.
