On March 25th, 2025, JBL Pro Connect will launch version 2.3. This version of software will come with some exiting new and improved features, but it will also require an accompanying firmware update of all speakers to continue using JBL Pro Connect.
Between now and March 25th, you will experience some pop ups helping to remind you that this update is coming. You can dismiss them if you no longer want to see them.
Version 2.3 of JBL will have many performance enhancements, feature updates and bug fixes that will provide the best experience with Pro Connect yet. As always, we recommend users operate their Pro Connect speakers on the latest firmware and software available.
What should you do?
It is recommended that you disable automatic updates in your device’s settings. This will allow you to reserve time to deploy firmware/software simultaneously, so your current JBL Pro Connect experience is not interrupted.
