JBL 310S MkIII is the low-frequency foundation for any 3 Series MkIII system. A new downward-firing 10-inch driver, patented JBL Slipstream port and 300-watt amplifier deliver tight, controlled bass down to 26 Hz and output up to 116 dB peak SPL. Selectable 80, 100 and 120 Hz crossover settings support quick 2.1 setup, while the external crossover (bypass) setting integrates with existing bass-management systems for surround and immersive monitoring. Improved phase alignment helps create a cleaner handoff to the full-range monitors.
JBL 310S MkIII is the dedicated 10-inch subwoofer for the 3 Series MkIII family. It extends a compact stereo pair of studio monitors into a full-range 2.1 system and supports bass management for surround and immersive audio workflows. It gives users the low-frequency confidence that full-range monitors cannot deliver on their own.
The new downward-firing 10-inch low-frequency driver uses an advanced magnetic system to deliver controlled bass with more uniform room coverage. A patented JBL Slipstream port on the front baffle helps reduce turbulence and port noise, keeping the low end tight and articulate as output increases.
The numbers matter. The 310S MkIII delivers a low-frequency extension down to 26 Hz at -10 dB. A 300-watt Class D amplifier provides output up to 116 dB peak SPL, giving the subwoofer enough headroom to support music production, video, post and immersive audio playback.
Integration is the biggest reason to choose the 310S MkIII. Selectable 80, 100 and 120 Hz crossover settings make 2.1 setup straightforward. The external crossover (bypass) setting lets an existing bass-management system handle the crossover in surround or immersive configurations. Improved phase alignment versus the previous generation helps deliver a cleaner handoff to the full-range monitors.
For 305P, 306P and 308P users, the 310S MkIII is the natural way to extend the system. It turns a stereo pair into a more complete monitoring platform and lets creators make decisions across the full frequency spectrum.
