หม้อแปลงแบบมัลติแท็ป 20 วัตต์ รองรับการใช้งานกับสายลำโพงระบบกระจายเสียงทั้งแบบ 70V และ 100V ขณะที่ลำโพงยังสามารถสวิตช์เพื่อใช้งานแบบ 8 โอห์มโดยตรง รองรับกำลังขับ 80W ต่อเนื่อง (320W พีค, 2 ชั่วโมง) ช่วงความถี่ตอบสนอง 70 Hz ถึง 20 kHz ให้เสียงที่สะอาดและชัดเจนทั้งสำหรับดนตรีและเสียงพูด

COL600 มีมาตรฐานการป้องกัน IP54 (ตาม IEC60529) สำหรับการป้องกันฝุ่นและน้ำเข้าสู่ตัวเครื่อง ไดรเวอร์ผ่านการเคลือบกันน้ำ ตะแกรงหน้าลำโพงมีชั้นกันน้ำรองด้านหลัง และมีฝาครอบสำหรับป้องกันขั้วต่อสัญญาณอินพุต มีให้เลือกทั้งสีดำ (JBL-COL600-BK) และสีขาว (JBL-COL600-WH)
