All of our team members are well versed in how our VTX Training program is designed, and teach the training with an underlying understanding of how our customers and systems technicians work every day in the field.

Cesar Benitez

Cesar BenitezCesar Benitez has worked for Harman Professional Solutions since September 2014 specializing in Tour Audio and is based in Puerto Rico, supporting distributors and rental companies in Latin America. Cesar has over two decades of touring experience through the America’s and Europe with bands, broadcast events and corporate shows. He has a strong background in live sound mixing, system design and deployment. Over his career Cesar has worked in nearly every role in the audio department.

Tom Der

Tom DerGrowing up in Middle Tennessee, Tom Der was involved in audio and theater since high school and graduated from Memphis State (now University of Memphis) with a BFA in Commercial Music and an Emphasis on Recording Engineering. Upon graduation in 1984 he returned to Nashville and started working as a staff and 2nd Engineer on major label albums during the day and late at night recording bands from Nashville’s burgeoning underground rock and roll scene. Notable recordings he was involved in during these years include Lyle Lovett’s first album and REM’s Document. Tom joined Soundcraft in 1996 and has been looking after Soundcraft’s sales and business in the USA for the past 19 years. He is an AES member and a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

George Georgallis

George GeorgaillisGeorge Georgallis joined the Harman Professional team in 2013 as an applications expert for the VerTec and VTX product lines. He has a strong background in system design and deployment, as well as a great deal of experience in large system measurement and integration. George is known for his in-depth trainings that truly help users bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and successful practical applications, and has supported customers domestically in the US as well as abroad. In addition to his current role as Product Manager for Tour Amplifiers, Speakers, and DSP, George leads the JBL VTX Factory Training in Northridge, CA.

Raul Gonzalez

Raul GonzalezRaul Gonzalez is the Americas Product and Applications Sales Specialist for the Touring Audio and Live Production Systems team. With 23 years of experience in the audio industry, Raul served over 13 years as JBL Professional’s Market Development Engineer for Latin America, and as Tour Sound Product Manager and Support Field Engineer. His areas of expertise include live sound mixing, and sound systems engineering and optimization. Raul holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and MFA in Theatre Sound Engineering with a concentration in room modeling and acoustics from Purdue University.

Ed Jackson

Ed JacksonEd Jackson has worked for HARMAN Professional Solutions since 2013 specializing in tour sound, primarily JBL Professional VTX Series systems, Soundcraft consoles and AKG wireless and wired microphones. Ed works out the London office supporting distributors and rental companies in the EMEA area. Previous to his tenure with HARMAN, Ed held a position as UK national Technical Lead for the Academy Music group and Live Nation, managing 15 venues and designing and building five large venues and working with a range of different PA manufacturers and console systems. As part of the venues technical management, Ed worked on shows for artists including Eminem, Kiss and The Prodigy.

Nick Mourn

Nick MournNick Mourn joined the Harman Professional Solutions team in 2016 as a Product Application Specialist. He has over 20 years of experience in the live production audio industry. Prior to joining Harman, Nick had an extensive touring career. He has worked with several national and regional sound companies across the United States throughout his career. Nick specializes in the design, deployment, measurement, and optimization of systems of all scales.

Carlos Nager

Carlos NagerCarlos Nager joined Harman Professional Solutions in 2015. Responsible for training and technical support for the tour sound market in-country, as well as supporting activities in the install, cinema, retail and broadcast markets in Mexico. Carlos has 15 years of experience in professional audio between Europe and Mexico in live sound mixing and as a systems technician. His specialization is in system design and deployment including electro-acoustical simulation.

Eric Stahlhammer

Eric StahlhammerEric Stahlhammer is a member of the global training organization for the performance audio products. His varied career as a freelance engineer and sound designer spans from Broadway tours to corporate events for fortune 500s to global scale broadcast events. Eric has spent years behind consoles and PA systems mixing an designing concerts and events all over the globe and brings this real-world experience to class to help other customers to elevate their knowledge and find success with the Harman live audio products.
