Uma extensão da icónica série AE, a família AE Compact é constituída por sistemas de colunas de som de alta potência, 2 vias, que combinam flexibilidade com elevada fidelidade. Variando desde uma única caixa de ponto de disparo de 5,25" até um sistema de coluna dupla de 8" especificamente concebido para atender melhor às necessidades de designers e artistas. Os modelos ultracompactos AC15 e AC25 incluem um tweeter de cúpula de 1", enquanto os modelos AC16, AC26, AC18 e AC28 apresentam controladores de compressão de saída de 1", proporcionando clareza sónica e detalhe nítido. Além disso, os modelos AC18 e AC28, com os guias de ondas rotativos Progressive TransitionTM da JBL, oferecem ao designer do sistema a opção de padrões de cobertura em configurações de 90° x 50° ou 120° x 60°.
