JBL Professional Introduces CV1510 and CV1610 Full-Range Commercial Speakers for China Market

August 02, 2020

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—JBL Professional, the global leader in loudspeaker technologies for recording and live sound, today introduced JBL CV1510 and CV1610 passive surface-mount speakers, the newest models in JBL Professional’s CV1000 Series of pro-grade install speakers for the China market.

The CV1000 Series brings JBL’s tour-tested fidelity and performance to restaurants, hotels, retail spaces and other commercial applications. Like all CV1000 models, the CV1510 and CV1610 feature a precisely designed crossover, quality plywood cabinets, built-in protection circuitry and a distinctive, elegantly contoured enclosure design. Pair the CV1510 and CV1610 with other CV100 Series loudspeakers and subwoofers for scalable solutions for any installed scenario.

“When we created the CV1000 Series, we aimed to offer versatile solutions for A/V integrators looking to design premium audio experiences for restaurants, hotels, retail venues and other commercial spaces,” said Daryl Wong, Director, China Product Development HARMAN Professional Solutions. “Now, with two new driver configurations, we’ve made it easier than ever to scale sound systems to match the precise needs of a broad range of spaces.”

The 2-way, 5.25-inch JBL CV1510 and 2-way, 6.5-inch CV1610 draw from seven decades of JBL Professional audio innovation to provide robust, reliable sound solutions that deliver smooth, even output at any volume level. Models are optimized for both horizontal or vertical orientation, with adjustable mount angles to fine-tune coverage in any space. The CV1510 delivers 104 dB max SPL (110 dB peak) and 86 dB sensitivity, while the CV1610 offers 107 dB max SPL (113 dB peak) and 87 dB sensitivity. Shallow footprints pair well with electronic presentation boards and feature rounded corners to prevent impact injuries.
