Der JBL Control 426LP ist ein koaxiales Deckenlautsprecher mit zwei Wegen und verfügt über einen 6,5"-Tieftöner sowie ein flaches Gehäuse, das ideal für Anwendungen mit begrenztem Platz im Deckenhohlraum ist. Die integrierte CRBI™-Technologie bietet 110° konsistente, vollständige und reichhaltige Klangcharakteristik, die der des Control 426C/T sehr ähnelt. Ein vollflächiges magnetisches Gitter fügt sich nahtlos in modernes Interieur ein, und es sind optionale schwarze und quadratische Gitter erhältlich. Zu den mechanischen Verbesserungen gehören neu gestaltete Anschlussabdeckungen mit Kabeleinführungsanschlüssen an der Ober- und Seite sowie ein äußerst zuverlässiges neues Ohrbügel-Design, das mit einer großen Bandbreite von Deckenstärken funktioniert. Wie alle Control 400 Enhanced Coverage-Modelle verfügt der Control 426LP über einen Transformator zur Unterstützung von sowohl 70V/100V- als auch niederimpedanten Anwendungen.

Redesigned terminal covers provide both top and side cable entry ports and can be secured without tools thanks to captive hand-screws. The captive dogear design is extremely reliable and works with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses.
