UL LISTED WITH ADDITION OF
CONTROL 200 SERIES UL LISTING

NORTHRIDGE, CALIFORNIA, January 23, 2008 — JBL Professional’s Control 200 Series of medium-format, in-ceiling loudspeakers and accessories are now UL listed under UL1480 and UL2043. The newly listed models include the Control 226C/T, the Control 227C and the Control 227CT. With the addition of UL on the Control 200 Series, all JBL Professional in-ceiling loudspeakers are now UL listed.

“It has been a goal of JBL Professional to achieve UL listing for our entire line of in-ceiling loudspeakers, which we have now accomplished,” said Rick Kamlet, Director of Marketing, Commercial Sound, JBL Professional. “Systems integrators now have the option to utilize any model from the JBL Professional ceiling speaker lineup with confidence for jobs that require high-performance, in-ceiling loudspeakers that meet UL requirements.”

Powerful systems featuring premium components, Control 200 Series loudspeakers are designed for applications where superior musical impact, voice clarity and high sound levels are required. Their extremely wide 120-degree coverage pattern allows fewer speakers to cover a larger area, reducing overall system cost without sacrificing sound quality. Whether for foreground music or paging requirements, Control 200 loudspeakers are easy to design into a wide variety of applications and are available in both 70-volt and low impedance models.

JBL’s complete lineup of UL listed in-ceiling loudspeakers includes three models of Control Micro speakers, six models of the Control 24/26/19 series, and seven models within the Control 300 Series. With Control 200 Series now also having attained UL listing, every JBL Professional in-ceiling loudspeaker model is now UL listed.
