Beijing Bei-o's HLA system in use for the 1999 concert by Taiwanese pop artist Chow Wa Kin. One of Asia's top performers, this popular entertainer drew more than 80,000 people for the show in Shanghai Stadium. Shown here, a 48+24 HLA rig driven by JBL DSC280 Digital System Controllers and powered by Crown amplifiers.

HLA 4895s and 4897s from Beijing Bei-o were combined with additional HLA array modules owned by Shanghai Stadium for use at special events held in the venue. Additionally, (34) JBL SP215-9s were positioned as signal-delayed units, distributed for additional coverage in the farthest reaches of the huge audience area.
