The Control 26-DT is a compact ceiling speaker assembly configured to install into standard ceiling backcans designed for 200 mm (8 inch) speakers. High power handling, wide frequency response and low distortion make the Control 26-DT ideal for sound systems requiring a higher fidelity sound, that integrates with many backcan designs.
Transducer, Network and transformer. Fits standard backcans for 8-inch speakers. Wide coverage. Advanced crossover network provides even coverage throughout listening area. 60 Watt transformer for 70V or 100V lines. Coaxial 165 mm (6.5 inch) woofer with butyl rubber surround and 19 mm (¾ inch) titanium coated tweeter. NEW! Accessories for Ceiling Mount Models

MTC-TCD Thick-Ceiling Dogear: Optional accessory dogears that allow installation of Control 24C/CT, 26C/CT and 19C/CT in ceilings up to 60 mm (2.5 inches) thick.
MTC-xxTR (71 kB): Trim Rings allow Control Contractor Ceiling Speakers to be installed into existing ceiling cutouts that are larger than the speaker’s normal cutout size. White in color to match the rim and grille of the ceiling speaker.
MTC-xxNC (55 kB): New Construction bracket made of flat sheetmetal, with wings to attach to the building structure.
MTC-xxMR (54 kB): Mud Ring (plaster ring) with a circular offset, forming a edge guide for sheet rock plastering.
